From schedules and gathering supplies to building relationships with young campers, you'll find helpful information to make preparation easy for you.
Sports Basics Playbook
Sports training takes about half of each day at MEGA Sports Camp, so most of this guide is filled with easy-to-follow skill introduction, drills, and review games. You don't have to be an athlete to coach Sports Basics. Just follow the playbook and have each activity ready to go before the sports session begins. Enough activities for 15 sports sessions, approximately 30 minutes each.
The highlight of MEGA Sports Camp is helping young athletes learn more about God and His plan for their lives. Your campers will join the older kids for children's church style rallies, but telling them the Bible story ahead of time does help with retention. Plus, you'll need a rest between sports sessions, and Bible Time helps with that too! Includes 5 Bible stories with games, crafts, activities, memory verse review, and reproducible take-home pages.
